Tara Homes is a family-run cottage on West Street in Thirukadaiyur, with someone at the door around the clock. Most guests are here for the Thirukadaiyur Amman temple — families doing a 60th marriage (Sashtiabdapoorthi) or Sathabhishekam ceremony and staying a few days together — so the rooms are built for that: enough beds, enough bathrooms, and space to sit together.
